Capricio Salon Announces 2nd Location

There’s no better way to start off spring than with a new look and we here at Capricio Salon and Spa couldn’t agree more. Capricio is now the proud new owner of Glow Salon & Spa in downtown Milwaukee, located at 765 North Jackson Street. We are excited about the expansion and the new services we are now able to offer at the new site. The downtown location offers all the same amenities that Capricio Salon & Spa offers and so much more. With the new addition, we are able to offer manicures, pedicures and body massages. We provide a wide range of nail services, including French manicures, polish changes, paraffin treatments, acrylic sets and gel sets. The Glow location goes a step above the standard manicure and pedicure by offering therapeutic hand healing manicures and sole salvation pedicures. These two services relieve stress and tension located in the hands and feet through exfoliation and a gentle massage with the use of Glow Spa lotions. The new location also delivers the latest and greatest technology in nail services, Shellac polish. Shellac offers the ease of polish, but the permanence of gels. So if you want to say goodbye to nail polish damage and hello to gorgeous long lasting nail color, look no further, because our downtown location has you covered. Along with our nail services, our new Glow Salon & Spa has body massages and treatments. Try our Ultimate Glow treatment that will leave your skin feeling clean, relaxed and refreshed. Meet the Owner: Munem is the proud owner of Capricio Salon & Spa and the new owner of Glow Salon & Spa. He is also a certified Redken Specialist, an expert in threading hair removal and furthermore has been certified in Brazilian Blowouts and Keratin Relaxer Treatments. Munem has been a hairstylist for over 20 years and prides himself on his work, which also includes his exceptional salon staff that he has personally trained and mentored. He strives to make sure that every client feels comfortable and relaxed the moment they walk in and guarantees they will look and feel remarkable the second they walk out. Capricio Salon and Spa awarded Best in Milwaukee second year in a row!

September 16, 2011 — For the second year in a row Capricio Salon and Spa has been awarded best salon in Milwaukee! In 2010 we were voted #1 hair salon in WISN’s A-list competition. Now, in 2011 we have been awarded by the U.S. Commerce Association in their “Best of Local Business” program as the Best in Milwaukee in the “Hairdressers” category. The USCA strives to recognize and award local businesses throughout the country. They support Capricio as a local establishment that enhances the positive image of small businesses that serve and get involved in their local communities.

We are very excited and honored to have been chosen for these awards! We would like to thank all our loyal clients for supporting and trusting us through the years! We are so happy to have our dedicated stylists that work hard every day and push the limits of creativity. Our stylists truly are the best at what they do!

Our links to the Milwaukee community are always growing stronger. We have been involved in fundraising for local and national foundations. In 2010 we hosted an event to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. We love being involved with local fashion and beauty events and recently launched our new Motives make-up line. We hope to keep promoting the amazing line in future events!

Capricio also has a very close tie to UW-Milwaukee as we are only 2 blocks away from campus and have been on the East side for 15 years! Getting the perfect hair style, brow shaping & airbrush tanning make-up to go with your wedding gown is a must.   Achieve the image you’ve always dreamed of, let Capricio Salon & Spa bring out your inner beauty! Capricio Salon & Spa will make every bride look amazing on her special day.
Our bridal service begins with a thorough consultation, discussing with you all of your ideas, thoughts and aspects of your wedding. We recommend this visit should be at least six months before the wedding day. We will also discuss whether you have any ideas of wearing any accessories such as tiaras, a veil, flowers or barrette. Whenever we use flowers in a bridal design you can be sure they are real and bursting with vibrant colors.
To achieve your desired look, you may require other services ahead of your big day. This may include extensions, airbrush tanning or color and cut. In these instances, we can draw up a pre-wedding hair plan to ensure your hair is healthy, glossy and vibrant in plenty of time for your wedding.
It is always a good idea to try out the style you have chosen ahead of the big day. This will last between one and three hours depending on whether you wish the bridesmaids to be involved.
It’s beneficial to have a trial run, as it instantly removes one of the biggest causes of stress on your wedding day. Additional trial runs can also be arranged if you wish.
