My name is Meg, and I’m a multi-talented esthetician at Capricio Salon and Spa! I graduated from the AVEDA Institute of Beauty and Wellness and was awarded a certificate for the highest grade point average. I was also recognized for having an exceptional amount of returning guests. I excelled in bridal makeup, skin care, and waxing services. Today, I am skilled in Brazilian and body waxing, customized facials, airbrush tanning, and makeup application. Most recently, I learned how to thread—an ancient form of hair removal using nylon thread on the face—and now practice threading on innumerable amounts of guests.

I have traveled to the International Dermal Institute in Chicago to advance my knowledge of Dermalogica, Capricio Salon and Spa’s premier skin care line. Similarly, I was invited to attend numerous Dermalogica product launches. I have attended DermLive One and Two, “Tools and Treatments,” FaceMapping 101, and am trained in ultrasound, microdermabrasion, high frequency, and galvanic current. I’ve also participated in one-on-one training in Brazilian waxing from SatinSmooth. My work in makeup has been featured in 4PM Magazine as well as various photo shoots and fashion shows.

As an esthetician, I understand the importance of working towards an end goal, particularly in terms of skin care. I enjoy seeing the transformation that takes place from the “before” to “after,” whether it be a makeup application, airbrush tan, facial, or even a simple threading procedure. I take pride I my work and in my education, and I bring a different level of care to my guests. I truly care to accommodate their needs, and I aim to form a trusting and reliable relationship with my clients based on consistently great results!
