Because Sunday night I was watching the Golden Globes while enjoying a chocolate martini and admiring my fresh “Lady Godiva” manicure, courtesy of Essie.
The martini was inspired the manicure, of course. I love the rich chocolate hue of this ultra-shiny lacquer. And the color seems to complement my winter wardrobe perfectly.
Chocolate martinis are oh-so-easy to make; the key is to enjoy just one. Simply combine one ounce of Godiva Original Liqueur with 1/4 ounce Ciroc and blend with 2.5 ounces of skim milk. The rim is dressed with a blend of caramel and brown sugar. (This makes a martini that is admittedly a bit weak; if you want to grow hair on your chest, by all means add more liquor.)

Worst hair: Scarlett Johansson
Most grown up: Piper Perabo (No more dancing on bars for her!)
Most well-preserved: Kyra Sedgwick (Who says Bacon is bad for you?)
Most Heinous Dress: Tilda Swinton (Runner up: Julianne Moore)
Most Enviable Genes: Halle Berry
Sleekest Pony: Jennifer Lopez (There is not a hair out of place on this woman.)
Prettiest Platinum Blonde: Emma Stone (Her colourist gets an Easy A.)
