The Loub Job

I love high heels. In fact, the higher the better. Four inch heels are the norm. Five inch heels are welcome. Six inches — the seemingly standard height of Christian Louboutin’s newest collection — bring ‘email on.

My feet just are meant for heels; high heels are actually comfortable. More comfortable, in fact, than flats.

And while I love wearing heels, I can’t imagine going to the extreme of injecting hyaluronic acid into my feet to make the wearing of heels more bearable. But that is exactly what some women are doing, opting for a new treatment dubbed a “Loub Job” — a nod to Christian Louboutin — in which injections are used to add padding to the balls of feet.

I’m working on a story about this trend now — stay tuned– in the meantime, I have to ask, can you see yourself getting a Loub job?

Wow - I love heels, too, but years of wearing heels resulted in two bunionectomies, and now high heels are a relic of my history, so I advise you to be sparing in your glam and save for special occasions! Best wishes!
