Mrs .Carter for H&M

Remember a couple of months ago one of Bey’s dancers let it slip on twitter that the Diva was shooting with H&M? We saw how fast that tweet sparked up the internet.Well that little slip has been confirmed via my inbox . Bey is the new face of the H&M summer campaign. Just on the heels of the sold out Mrs. Carter tour starting April 15th. H&M will roll out billboards,commercials,and print ads introducing “Beyonce as Mrs Carter in H&M” .The campaign was shot in beautiful Nassau ,Bahamas .What a perfect setting to introduce Beyonce’s new song in the commercial called ” Standing on the Sun” It’s still cold here in NYC but this image is bound to heat up any room.

What does Beyonce think of her collaboration? “I’ve always liked H&M’s focus on fun and affordable fashion. I really loved the concept we collaborated on to explore the different emotions of women represented by the four elements – fire, water, earth and wind. It was a beautiful shoot on a tropical island. It felt more like making a video than a commercial,” says Beyoncé.

Well it looks like we’ll have to wait till May for the new summer collection. But I’m sure well see a few more photos of the tropical shoot in a few weeks. Happy Shopping #H&MSummer
