It’s Saturday June 9th 2012 , National Get Outdoors Day! So take a some time to enjoy the summer biking with the family, picnic, frisbee or just taking a walk. The campaign is a reminder to adults and children about the importane of a healthy lifestyle and being active outdoors.Created to reconnect kids and other park visitors, Saturday’s fifth annual Get Outdoors Day will offer free admission to many parks, forests, wildlife refuges and other public lands throughout the nation. My outdoor activity will consist of a local beach clean up on Far Rockaway ,NY so I will have sunscreen in tow.
