Unless you are four years old chipped nail polish is a no, no. I remember back in college going sans Lacquer as I didn’t want to deal with touching up my nails everyday due to work, school, and recreational fun. Now, as a full blown adult? Nothing has changed. I still do not want to paint my nails everyday, but I just die a little inside every time I catch one of my co-workers glancing at my chipped nails. I envision them thinking “what is she four?” Well, no more! If you are a diva like myself that loves looking lux, but hates high maintenance hottness then you should Shellac! Shellac is a new product from CND ( creative Nail Design) these nail wizards have developed a Hybrid of nail polish and gel that promises not to smudge, chip, crack, or do anything else that causes drama to our look for fourteen days! WE LOVE!!
Shellac paints on like polish – base coat, color, top coat – and is cured in a UV light so there is zero dry time. The colors are hypo-allergenic, and “3-Free” – no formaldehyde, toluene or DBP. Shellac will launch in a range of 12 varieties of shades, from pretty French pinks and whites, to siren red and rich darks. The formula is thin and flexible like polish, so it not only looks natural, it provides strong natural nail protection with a resilient mirror finish that resists dullness and chipping, even during the most rigorous activities.
Shellac is not DIY… or is it? Well it’s not, but DIY Diva’s can’t be stopped they are doing it anyways! Go get ‘em girlie’s!! Shellac is preferably applied by a salon professional, but can be found by anyone with the Internet
If you are ready to take the plunge into perfect nails then find a Shellac’ing sista in your area or give it a whirl yourself and hit up Ebay. (I do not recommend this, but I would never do an at home hair die. However,I do know a lot of woman that do DIY die and it’s great.. so what do I know?!?!) Anyways, this is blow out and I know you are going to love it no matter how you get it!
