This week on Totally Cheap Tuesday I am featuring a super cheap make-up line that is actually very nice! I know I always put nice stuff on my site 
but I have never featured anything this cheap. Usually when you delve into the realm of super cheap make-up you end up with exactly what you paid for. Now, when I say, “Super cheap” I am not talking about Revlon or L’Oreal, I am talking the end cap of the isle cheap make-up. So without further Ado I would like to present Jordana!!
This California based, family owned business, has been around for 18 years and offers more than a thousand different products. The Bijou family’s vision for Jordana is “Every Woman can afford to indulge herself.” We like! My Pick is Jordana’s INCOLOR Pretty Shine Luxury Lip gloss, which comes in eleven beautiful colors. This gloss has amazing coverage similar to a lipstick, is creamy and shiny like a gloss, and thanks to the Jojoba Oil it is super moisturizing not sticky! Keep in mind when picking out a color that it will be brighter when applied, but for only $1.99 each you can afford to get a couple!!!! I will definitely buy this again and you should too! We are feeling hot, hot,hot and not, not, not in the good way! I adore the heat. I do not love the sweat. June/July have proven to be unrelenting when it comes to the temperature and before you go cuckoo over the climate we need to get you back to cool. This week we are giving you the gift of your foundation back! Many articles and blogs suggest getting rid of foundation as a way to beat the heat, but for many that suggestion is just as uncomfortable. Not all diva’s have perfect skin and just because it is hot doesn’t mean you should be forced to face the flaws. Having very long and thick hair is fantastic, but only if it’s clean. I cannot tell you how many times I have agonized over washing my hair. The entire process from wash to style is literally exhausting, and definitely not something I am going to do everyday. So you can only imagine my delight when I was given Alterna Advanced Anti-Aging Technology Dry Shampoo. Alterna was going to be my shower savior. No more blow dryer’s elbow, No more rinse and repeat, no more horrible hair days… well maybe the last one is a stretch but I NEEDED this! So, after happily using Alterna, for two weeks, does it deserve a crown or a frown?
Alterna Dry Shampoo has a wonderful clean fresh scent, It absorbed all of the oil, and overall it really made my hair look cleaner! Alterna Dry shampoo is a white, talc free powder that it is chalked full of wonderful Omega 3′s and Vitamin C. However, I am a redhead and even after massaging and brushing the powder still left me feeling a little “white”. The dry shampoo also took away all luster and left my hair a little stiff. Now that all the facts have been presented I would give Alterna…. drum roll please….. a Crown! Even though I wish Alterna would come in hair color’s I appreciate that it did what I needed it to do, which was to keep my hair looking and smelling clean even when it wasn’t! Totally Cheap Tuesday
After being stranded on a desert island for the past month I am back, and babies I got your skincare covered!!!!!!!!! This week TCT brings you one of my most beloved skincare products, Nivea Body Firming lotion plus Q10. This lotion is packed with power and promises to give you “noticeably firmer skin in two weeks”, and that, I can say, is totally true! Upon regular use for two weeks you will definitely notice a difference in your skin’s appearance and feel. Softer and firmer skin is something I am always after and Nivea is tops for delivering! Now I must warn you this is a little pricier ($8.79 for 13.5 oz) than some of our other Totally Cheap Tuesday products, but I can’t imagine a summer without this product and once you try it you won’t be able to either!

Woodley and Bunny in Brooklyn, New York is just another fabulous reason why I need to get back to the Big Apple and the Boroughs!
Brooklyn is the epicenter of the indie music scene, up and coming artists, and of course, reason number 5, but Woodley and Bunny has caught my eye and now I can’t stop daydreaming! Woodley and Bunny is an innovative and inviting salon that has quickly built a reputation around fantastic color work, men’s grooming, and functionally fashionable cuts. W&B is also an Apothecary, which means “woman be shopping”! I was instantly drawn to the beautiful high end productsand intensely cool vibe of the salon, Owner & Executive VP Erin Anderson doesn’t hurt to draw uber fab’ clientele either. Erin has had extensive formal training; couple that with an artistic eye and we are talking a one two punch to a knock-out haircut, just ask her regulars! Chloe Sevigny, Shia Labeouf, & Mila Jovovich are just a few dynamite A-lister’s that trust their locks to Woodley and Bunny. So next time you are cruising around Bk make a stop, have some tea, shop around, and for god sakes get a haircut you hippy!!

Totally Cheap Tuesday!!
This Tuesday we are giving you a Passport to Paradise! Well sort of… L’Oreal has a beautiful “Passport to Paradise” collection out for Summer 2010 and it is a must! The collection is complete with bronzers, lip gloss, & eye shadow, but I have my eye on the nail polish! Three new limited edition nail colors were introduced with this collection and they are so cute!

High Tide, a smokey blue with a hint of shimmer, is fresh and understated, Ocean Breeze, a bright blue, is perfect for toes or a night on the town, and Waters Edge, a bright aquamarine, is electric and sure to stand out against tan skin! I love Totally Cheap Tuesday, and since this is the tenth edition it got me thinking…hmmm some of the worst deals have to do with ten i.e. buy ten the 11th one is free, 10% off, $10 dollars off, 10 for 10…( well I like that last one) but anyway today we are doing it big and I’m not just blowing smoke ’cause its 420.
