JPG will you marry me?

Friday, February 12th, 2010

You are wonderful. You are beautiful. You are thoughtful. You are lovable. You are amazing. If you like compliments then JPG will be your new best friend and if you are someone that needs to “learn how to” take a compliment consider this a crash course. I hope you love my absolute favorite, swear by, never fails, pick me up perfume as much as I love you! Ladies, say, “Hello” to Jean Paul Gaultier Fragile.

This scent’s core is Tuberose, but it possesses fruity notes, floral notes, woodsy warm notes and is ultra sophisticated. Fragile is intoxicating and alluring it brings people to uncontrollable complimentary levels and at times you might feel like you are part of an interrogation in regards to where you found this amazing fragrance. It is unforgettable and yet at the same time Pristine. Fragile is a truly fabulous fragrance and my all time favorite. Happy Valentine’s Day, Beauties!

I Dream in Dermalogica

Monday, February 8th, 2010

This past weekend, I was given the gift of beauty! My beloved boy sent me off to relax and enjoy some “me” time at Capricio Salon & Spa in Milwaukee. I had a fabulous time! Meg, a total sweetheart, hip-hop dancer, and Aesthetician extraordinaire, gave me a fabulous microzone custom facial, which left me feeling fantastic, refreshed, and ready for the world! Meg also recommended some Dermalogica products all of which are amazing, but the one I am really loving right now is Dermalogica Climate Control Lip Treatment!

This therapeutic balm is formulated with exclusive anti-ozonate complex to help heal acutely damaged lips and provide a barrier against future climate assaults.  Ladies, let me say, “This product is fabulous!” The smooth light formula  is packed with power to make your lips soft and hydrated even in the rough winter weather! Never sticky or thick this lip treatment is a savior to my lips and my look!

It’s been a Magical trip!

Thursday, February 4th, 2010

It was a day filled with wonder and sadness when I read the news about Prescriptives cosmetic line shutting their counters. What am I suppose to do? Prescriptive’s makes one of my absolute favorite beauty products and soon it will be just a fond memory. However, I won’t let this product disappear from my life without a proper tribute so here’s to you *magic Illuminating Liquid Potion it’s been a beautiful trip!

I first discovered this product about seven years ago and I couldn’t believe how fantastic it made my skin look and feel. *magic Illuminating Liquid Potion is a translucent potion that instantly creates a perfect image. You can wear this liquid illusion alone, under, or over a foundation and marvel as the three-dimensional holographic pigments play with light to create skin that appears flawless. I absolutely adore this product and will stock up to ensure my flawless skin lasts a little longer!

I also recommend Liquid Powder Translucent, which is one of their best sellers!

Chanel- Chemical Pastel

Monday, February 1st, 2010

Chanel and couture could arguably be the best duo in the universe, but what about Pastels and Metallics? Early last week Karl & Co. turned out a fantastic look at  Chanel’s Spring/Summer Haute Couture Show in Paris that has really revived me from my winter funk,  and got me thinking futuristic sweetheart!

The models wore Chanel Rouge Allure – in  Genial, an unreleased shade on the lips, but word on the catwalk is that it will be available April/May.

The liquid Silver nail is the revived Chanel Duo Platinum Silver, which was only available in the UK when it launched in 2007. Could we see a flashback to the future with a re-release this Summer?

A new eyeshadow duo called Ombres Contraste Duo in Gris-Subtil made it’s debut as well. Officially, the 2010 launch date’s unknown, but the rumor mill is working overtime and it might be hitting shelves in April, be prepared for it’s fabulousness.

Karl gave Peter Philips, the Global Creative Director of Chanel Makeup, three key images to inspire the makeup for the show: neon baroque, chemical pastels and liquid silver. I am in love!

Sula for Saturdays!

Thursday, January 28th, 2010

If you are nail color chameleon like me, Sula is a must! My 9-5 requires that I wear the predictable professional polish, but sometimes I like to mix it up with a bright burst for the weekend or a fresh coat for an after work rendezvous. Unfortunately, this is reality and painting my nails four times a week is just not going to happen, well at least not until I discovered Sula! Sula Nail color is not your normal polish it is a paint and peel nail color, which means when you are ready to change the color you just peel it off. No nail polish remover is required. Although it is not intended for long wear it can transformed by using Sula base and top coat, but that really defeats the purpose of why I am loving it right now!

Sula is affordable, fun, and feasible! Choose from a variety of colors, or buy a pre-picked trios! For more information and FAQ’s go to Sula Faq’s !

Cargo LashActivator Mascara- to lengthen or to lose?

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010
Where was Cargo Cosmetics founded? That was the question to which I answered correctly in order to win a full size LashActivator by Cargo. I was so excited to receive my LashActivator, albeit skeptical of the promised results. I was checking my mail religiously.

Upon receiving my LashActivator, I read the promise “In just 30 days, LashActivator™ is clinically shown to boost the appearance of lashes by 169% over the rate of natural growth.” My lashes are average. I wouldn’t say I have ever wanted to change them in anyway but the thought of longer lashes to bat was very appealing. Today I have completed thirty days of daily use. I even used it on the weekends to ensure LashActivator received a fair chance and the results are in.

Drum roll please… Cargo LashActivator truly did lengthen my lashes!!! Now I have no way to technically measure the length but a girl knows the length of her lashes and mine are now out of this world. I remember around day twenty applying the LashActivator thinking, “Oh my gosh they just don’t stop”, even my boyfriend commented on the length! So if you are looking for longer lashes without scary side effects, I would definitely recommend Cargo LashActivator! This mascara took my lashes to new lengths and left me loving the results!
