When my son, Bean, was about 8 months old, his cheeks were chapped in a rosy-cheeked, cute baby sort of way. I tried everything I had in the lotion arsenal, but nothing helped them—it seemed they were destined to be all reddish and sweet-looking (but slightly itchy and unhealthy).
Until a lovely, helpful stranger told me about Aquaphor. I picked some up, smeared it all over his cherub face, and seemingly overnight (probably overnight), his cheeks, still rosy, were soft, supple, and healthy.
And now, I can’t get enough of the stuff—especially in winter, when the radiator heat and layering and all that saps the moisture right out of my skin (and lips). Before I go to bed, I rub it all over my feet and put socks on. In the morning, my feet are all silky and yummy. I put it on my lips when they’re chapped. I rub it on my cuticles. I make my husband massage it into his rough hands. Oh—and I still put it on the Bean’s cheeks, and he’s four now!
It really is great stuff, this Aquaphor! And, you can find it anywhere. Try it!
