A permit to film in Bosnia was returned to Angelina Jolie after rumors about the content of her upcoming movie were cleared. Women’s groups had protested after hearing that Jolie’s film featured a rape victim and rapist. The culture minister of Bosnia gave back the permit after reading a copy of the script.

Red Carpet Mom Elizabeth Hurley (son Damian is 8), wore a pink one-shoulder dress on Friday (October 1st) when she and Red Carpet Mom Evelyn Lauder (she has two grown sons, Leonard and Ronald) lit the Empire State Building the color pink as part of the Estee Lauder Breast Cancer Awareness campaign. Hurley has been dedicated to the BCA campaign for 15 years.

The SNL alum gave a classic opening monologue with cameos by SNL friends Justin Timberlake, Red Carpet Mom Rachel Dratch, Red Carpet Mom Tina Fey and Jimmy Fallon. Underworld Contraband

Red Carpet Mom Kate Beckinsale (daughter Lily is 11) has signed on to play Selene in a fourth “Underworld” movie. This news comes just days after it being reported that Beckinsale will most likely join Mark Wahlberg in the thriller “Contraband.” A remake of the film from Iceland, “Contraband” tells of a security guard and former smuggler (Wahlberg) who goes back to his old ways after running into financial problems. As far as acting being a family business, Beckinsale’s daughter Lily has actually appeared as a younger version of her mother in many films, including “Underworld: Evolution.”

Red Carpet Mom Rachel Weisz (son Henry is 4) made a splash at the Toronto International Film Festival. Her new film, “The Whistleblower” premiered at TIFF and stars Weisz as a police officer from Nebraska who uncovers a sex trafficking scandal being hidden by the U.N. The story is based on the real-life experiences of Kathryn Bolkovac. The film also stars Vanessa Redgrave and Monica Bellucci.

Red Carpet Mom Demi Moore (daughter Rumer is 22, daughter Scout is 19 and daughter Tallulah is 16) has joined the cast of “The Reasonable Bunch.” Moore joins Thomas Haden Church and Kate Bosworth in this comedy about sparring relatives who come together for a family wedding. Filming begins later this month.
