Red Carpet Mom Nicole Kidman (daughter Isabella and son Connor are both teenagers and daughter Sunday is 2) is making headlines for her new film “Rabbit Hole.” The film will be featured at the International Rome Film Festival, which is an honor. The movie, starring Kidman and Aaron Eckhart, is about a couple with marriage problems who lose their child. The festival runs from October 28th through November 5th.

Red Carpet Mom Kyra Sedgwick (son Travis is 21 and daughter Sosie is 18) took home an Emmy last night – her very first. After being nominated since 2006 for her role in “The Closer,” the 45-year-old actress won for the first time. She gave a beautiful acceptance speech, thanking her two children and her husband of almost 22 years, Kevin Bacon. Sedgwick looked radiant in a wine-colored Monique Lhuillier gown.

Red Carpet Mom Sandra Bullock (son Louis is 8 months) and Tom Hanks are being considered for an adaption of “Extrememly Loud and Incredibly Close,” a novel about a talented young boy on a quest after his father dies in the September 11th attacks. Bullock and Hanks would play the parents of the boy in this Stephen Daldry film.

Red Carpet Mom Jessica Alba (daughter Honor Marie is 2) has signed on to star in ”Spy Kids 4″ as the mom to the new young heroes. Director Robert Rodriguez is hoping this sequel will rejuvenate the franchise that began in 2001, originally starring Alexa Vega and Daryl Sabara.

Red Carpet Mom Amy Poehler (son Archie will be 2 in December and son Abel was born on August 6th) is nominated for an Emmy this year. The SNL alum is up for Best Actress, Comedy for her role in “Parks & Recreation.” The Emmys ceremony usually takes place in September, but this year it has been moved to August. The ceremony will take place in Los Angeles on Sunday, August 29th, just weeks after Poehler delivered her second child. Will she attend the ceremony? Our guess is yes. Poehler’s husband Will Arnett is also up for an Emmy for Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his work on “30 Rock”. Arnett is also slated to present. We wish Amy all the best! Wear something comfortable, Amy!

Red Carpet Mom Gisele Bundchen (son Ben will be 1 in December) recently made comments regarding her strong beliefs on breastfeeding. During an interview with “Harper’s Bazaar UK,” the model said she feels that all moms should be required to breastfeed their newborns for the first 6 months. She even went as far to suggest this become a law. Her comments have created a serious whirlwind of controversy. To clarify her statements, Gisele posted follow-up thoughts on her blog.

Red Carpet Mom Angelina Jolie (son Maddox just turned 9, son Pax is 6, daughter Zahara is 5, daughter Shiloh is 4 and twins Knox and Vivienne turned 2 in July) arrived at the UK premiere of “Salt” last night wearing a flowing metallic dress by designer Amanda Wakely. This dress is a little different than the collection of Little Black Dresses Jolie has been wearing to most “Salt”-related appearances. InStyle.com reports that Jolie also wore nude patent leather peep-toe platforms, specially designed for her by Ferragamo.
