Rihanna is the latest celebrity to join her peers and put out a fragrance. Reb’l Fleur isa proof that Rihanna is truly a chameleon. This scent is not what I expected from the young singer. It’s sophisticated, and should definitely be worn after 5pm. This fragrance is sure to attract a more mature woman that may not necessarily be a fan of her music, but has appreciation of a well crafted fragrance.
Perfumers Caroline Sabas, and Marypierre Julien worked with Rihanna to create a fragrance that combined Rihanna’s past, the island of Barbados, and present, the island of Manhattan . Sabas, and Julien used red plums, purple plums, and peaches, for the top notes. Hibiscus, violet, tuberose, and coconut are the heart of the fragrance; The sensual scents of vanilla, patcholui, amber, and musk , and wrap up this song.
The design of the Reb’l Fleur bottle is inspired by the svelte heel of a stiletto shoe ~ Rihannas’s favorite shoe option.
Reb’l Fleur will be available in department stores Spring 2011.
